2. Project Description:
The main aim of this project is to understand the HDFS, MapReduce execution framework in detail on
larger data sets and Hadoop Echo systems like pig, hive, HBase, Flume, Sqoop to tune the MapReduce jobs
running on cluster, configuration tuning parameters like block size, sort factor etc.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Developed and presented a proof of concept for the real time analytical in a very short time using
Apache Hadoop.
 Developed Proof of Concept (POC) for the Project by using the tools and techniques like Hadoop
MapReduce, Pig, Hive and HBase.
 Responsible to import the data in the HDFS and provide the query capabilities using HIVE.
