Responsibilities:
Since three contracts I was promoted to engineer (3rd engineer officer) and I was in
charge of all engines and auxiliary machineries in the engine room, but also for the
accommodation.
I have great experience with the overhauling of the Auxiliary Engines and the Main
Engines; I have overhauled a lot of engines. I have experience also with various types of
boilers, purifiers, air compressors, evaporators, reverse osmosis systems, sewage systems,
oily water separators; with rescue boat cranes and others. I also worked with refrigeration
compressors and air condition compressors and systems. I am used having in engine room
personnel of various nationalities and to work with them.
As Motorman:
-maintain and repair main and auxiliary engine, pumps and boiler as directed by the Chief
Engineer
-Assist the hotel service engineer is in charge with AC, refrigeration systems electrical,
electronic, plumbing
- Welding broken pipes, etc.
-Exploring opportunities to apply extensive experience in vessel power plant operation and
production
-work with CO2 welding torch, electric and argon welding machine.
- work with Technical Storekeeper to ensure sufficient stock of spare parts.
