One or more idle stations may be incorporated in the die. In this paper we use software CATIA V5 for modeling a progressive tool to manufacture a washer for M12 bolt. In earlier design there is no primary stopper for first station and there are no accurate location like pilots for further station. In this design we provide primary stopper for first station, pilots for further stations and also we replace the die block with die buttons. For this any damage occurs on die button simply we can replace that particular die button instead of replacement of entire die block this will reduce the material cost, machining time and die maintenance.

lasting and powerful threads into 3D print.
You can insert holes directly to 3D printed parts, but
they wear down very fast.
It is because thermoplastics are used in 3D printing,
and they are soft.
To enhance durability, brass threaded inserts are used.

4. How do threaded inserts work?
Threaded inserts come with ribs and they have edges on
the outside. They are typically called knurling. The
knurling allows the inserts to hold the plastic and
makes it difficult for them to be twisted or pulled out.
On the inside of the brass inserts there are durable
threads.
5. Methods for installing threaded inserts in 3D
prints
There are several methods that can be used to install
threaded inserts in plastic. But all of them may not be
relevant and useful.
For example, threads that are inserted ultrasonically
are applicable in industrial equipment. Molded threaded
inserts in plastic can’t be used in 3D printing.
6. Heat-setting inserts
Heat-setting involves melting the plastic that surrounds
the insert so that it can be inserted properly. As the
plastic cools, it reflows around the insert and forms a
strong bond along with the knurling.
The only downside of this method is that it might get
misaligned accidently while heat-setting.
7. Ultrasonicinserts
They use high-frequency vibrations to generate friction
and heat.
Press fittinginserts
They can be simply press-fit into 3D prints without
heating. Since the plastic does not melt around knurling
and gets firmed, the bond created here is weaker.
