China is highly dependent on coal but is building the world's largest renewable energy system to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. China produces one-third of global solar photovoltaic production and its domestic solar PV manufacturing industry has grown dramatically since 2004, with China now the world's largest producer. become hydrochloride acid with the rain,
causing pollution.
