The United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties helps support various organizations in Wayne County, Pennsylvania that focus on education, income, and health. Last year, thanks to donations, over 3,000 individuals received services like advocacy, emergency assistance, job training, counseling, education programs, and more from 16 grantee organizations. A total of nearly $156,000 in prescription savings was also achieved through a discount program.

Devereux Pocono Center.

reading skills through Honesdale
Communities That Care.
9. The Honesdale Fire Department
purchased life-saving tools to
improve their ability to protect
the 15,000 residents living
in their service area.

programs through Educational
Improvement Tax Credits.
