Plastic Degrading Fungus
Fungus Name: Aspergillus sydowii, Penicillium
chrysogenum
Function: Both are involve in plastic
degradation like pvc and polythene respectively.
Usefulness: Both the species are reported to
degrade plastics and can be used to eliminate plastic
which have become a major concern to the world.
Presence: Plastic degrading fungus mostly
present in dump places in inner most layer of
dump
