Kota sarees are called Masuria because they were once woven in Mysore. The weavers migrated to
Kaithoon, near Kota, and the sarees came to be known as 'Kota-Masuria'.

The procedure of making this fabric involves winding, warping, dyeing, sizing, drafting, denting, piercing
