2011-2012
Licensure Track for Counseling Professionals
Designed to meet the educational require-
ments for the Licensed Alcohol and Drug
Abuse Counselor (LADAC) and Associate
(LSAA) in New Mexico. The weekend format provides
a concentrated learning experience while allowing
participants to meet their weekday employment and
other obligations. Each 16 hour class meets the
national standards of NAADAC and is approved for
CEUs to the NM Counseling and Therapy Practice
Board. The series is 14 classes for a total of 224
hours. Approval to enroll in the Substance Abuse
Studies Training Program (SASTP) is required.

dce.unm.edu/SASTP from $399 to $99 per class which includes class materials. Prices are dependent upon
grant funding and may be subject to change.

FILM PANEL SERIES
$100 for full series or $30 per individual sessions.
NAADAC approved for 4 CEUs per session for a total of 16 hours.
Engage in the dialog about alcoholism using the power of storytelling.
Through documentaries, popular media and film, along with a panel of
addictions experts, share in a conversation on alcoholism that will inspire
and motivate our community to action.
