This document summarizes analytics on 3000 iOS apps from Umeng's platform between January and July 2011. Key findings include the iPhone 4 accounting for 83.4% of iOS devices by July, with iPad2 growing to 59.8% of iPad devices. iOS 4.3 became the dominant version at 69.3%. Business/travel and books/news apps were most used Monday-Friday 8-10am and 5-9pm, while games and entertainment apps were most popular on weekends. iPhone usage peaked 7am-5pm while iPad was most common 6-11pm for entertainment.
