Advantages of Electrochemical Treatment over Biological Treatment: In
comparison to biological treatment Electrolysis has less moving parts and less unit process.
There is no need to maintain MLSS and pH. It is temperature independent and starts and

Electrolysis generates less GHG (green house gas) and does not deplete oxygen from
