and it is as easy as sending a text!

You can test your skills with a challenging tile strategy
game, browse the Army Live blog, download Army
Podcasts, keep up to date with the latest tweets and Facebook

This might seem obvious, but Facebook is an awesome way to
keep in touch, whether your loved ones are a city away or
many, many countries away.
We heard from military wives and moms about how great
Facebook was during deployments. One wife even kept her
husband updated through out her pregnancy over
Facebook. With Facebook’s picture-sharing abilities, chat
feature and the “see friendship” option that allows you to
look at your Facebook history with one other person, it is the
perfect way for families, spouses, and extended family
members to keep in touch overseas.

RallyPoint is a brand new social network just for members of
the military.
This venture, created by veterans at Harvard Business School
and launched in November 2012, connects servicemen with
the personnel, commanders, units, assignments, and military
opportunities they need to advance their careers.
Think of it as a LinkedIn for the military community.
