- The document forecasts the market share of LED backlights in notebook PCs from 2006 to 2015. - It predicts LED backlights will increase from 1.4 million units in 2006 to over 470 million units in 2015, reaching a 48.8% market share for notebooks over 10 inches. - CCFL/EEFL backlights will decline from 99% market share in 2006 to 51% in 2015 as LED backlights gain adoption.
