I first want to say welcome to the parents and I am very excited to have you
participate to family night. Three reasons why reading is important in life.
 In order to fill out a job application however you will have to read.
 When you are apart of the workforce however reading is needed.
 When you go to college to obtain your degree reading is needed

The web and internet is a very powerful resource to help improve
academics for students today. There are so many tools to help

4. In-class Activity
 Invite parents to take part in activities and have group
discussions on what we read.
 Writing words and breaking them down and once we
understand the words we will have a spelling bee.
 Writing encouraging letters to the students.
