3. What?
Shrek’s Adventure is an ‘indoor walk-and-ride adventure’ tour, inspired
by the Dreamworks animation, which includes 10 live shows, several
new animations, and interactive mazes and game shows.
The attraction offers affordable packages for schools wanting to visit
with large numbers of children, and offers school tours.
4. How?
After going to Shrek’s Adventure London, we put together a Risk
Assessment to assess whether this would be a viable trip to go
on with a class of primary school children…
5. Why?
We discussed how Shrek’s Adventure could be used educationally in a
unit of work.Through constructing a MediumTerm plan, we decided
thatYear 4 would be a suitable age of children to take to the
attraction, and that Cross-Curricular/National Curriculum links could
be made with Computing, Art, and PSHCE…
