1. Website proposal
Client’s needs,
‘Oz Backpackers’ is a travel company for people who want to go backpacking the main backpacking
traveling country in the world.Oz backpackersare for exploringAustraliaand for being more
adventurous with their lives. I have been asked to make a website for Oz backpackers. The website
will consist of hostels that the backpackers can visit/stay and area’s which are good for backpacking.
My website will have promotions for the company and will be easy to use. The website will have
many ways of travelling and will have provided the information of how you travel either alone or as
a party at the cheapest prices.
Target audience
My target audience is both Male and Female aged between 18 and 25 who are looking to go
backpacking in the country of Australia either group’s couples or alone.
Market research
Before I create my project I researched some other websites and similar procedures to find out how
they are put together. I got some ideas of how they are layout and the ideas they have similar to
mine to help me think of how I can make it considerable to my target audience.
Content,
My will include a bunch of options that the navigation bar will consist off, which will be: Home,
Australian Hostels, Membership & Discounts, Single/Party bookings and About Oz.
Here are the counties/towns that we will provide: Sydney, NSW - Canberra, NSW - Perth, WA -
Melbourne, VIC - Brisbane, QLD - Darwin, NT - Hobart, TAS - Adelaide, SA - Cairns, QLD
Details of the layout
The layout of the pages will all be the same. They will have the top heading saying the name of the
page with a logo on each side of them. It will then have a navigation bar going down the left side of
the page; the centre of the page will have links and the information of the page you are on. The
centre will also have navigation for the choices you get to choose from.
Ideas for logo
The logo will be an earth in blue and green with a yellow 30 in the centre as it stands for 30 things
and it will not have the text for the “things to do before your”
Copyright
When graphics are created by someone, the right to those graphics are only to that creator, if
copied by someone else it is against the copy right law unless they have permission off the creator or
even the owner of that graphic. The only way you can get rights to that copy/graphics is either if you
buy the graphics or ask for permission to use the graphic as your own. This law can even be broke if
that image is done by another artist resembling that graphic, if the copy is like the original graphic
with modifications it is still know as copyright. The copyright law is that that graphic that created by
you is yours until death after 70 years, in these 70 years it will be owned by your closest relation or
either who you left it to in a will.
2. The graphics that I am going to be creating are only going to be mine. The rights to my graphics will
only be in my ownership. the graphics I make I don’t want to be used in any other image, be used as
any other persons graphic and I don’t want to be resembled in someone else’s ownership.
Ethical Consideration – Confidentiality
The website that is being created will be kept confidential until the website is officially made. The
websites designs, colours and layout will be kept away and will have to be seen when the site is
made as the website is being made nothing of the product or website will be given out. The logo of
the product will also be kept confidential until the website release, same with the cost of each of the
products. Nothing will be told about the product or website, when the website is finished will the
released of the product and the day the website will be opened and advertised until then the
website and product will be kept confidential.
