Tourist Arrival in Nepal Increases By 17 Percentages As Compared To Last
Year
Tourist arrival in Nepal crosses 1 million within 11 months. Welcoming 1 million tourists in Nepal was the
mission of the government since the year 2011.
KATHMANDU, Nepal - Dec. 14, 2018 - PRLog -- The number of tourists
arriving Nepal for the variety of tours and
trekking package has finally crossed the
mark if one million.
Further, these large number of arrivals
happened in the last 11 months. To be exact
the number of tourist arrival one million
one thousand nine hundred thirty.
Mission since the year 2011 finally complete:
The government had declared the year 2011 as the tourism year. At the same time,
the government was in a mission of welcoming one million tourists in a year.
However, this mission was not being achieved due to the various internal and
external environments.
To name the few, such as lack of good infrastructure, less promotion, a massive
earthquake, and political crisis. However, after 7 years this mission of welcoming
one million tourists is finally complete.
Will the Increment double in 2020 (within the next two years)?
Nepal has announced Tourism Year 2020
with a new mission to welcome 2 million
tourists. Tourism entrepreneurs' optimism
may finally achieve this mission. However,
welcoming two million tourists will require
massive preparation.
Some of which are proper accommodation,
improvisation of the international airport in
Kathmandu are the important ones.

The promotion is going well. However, the government must answer, can Nepal
accommodate 2 million tourists within the next two years?
This will depend upon different internal and external factors, some can be
Controlled some cannot be. Now it is time to make a good investment in
improvising the infrastructures. This will provide an opportunity for the country to
sell different Nepal tour packages to 2 million tourists arriving Nepal.
