or imported) as per VAT amendment Act No. 7 of 2014. However;

Pharmacy and Poisons Board/Cabinet Secretary for health – See Case Study.

- Indirect Taxation:
« Import Declaration Fees (IDF) of 2.25% of CIF Value subject to a minimum
of Ksh. 5,000.
« VAT of 16% on electricity, water etc. due to change from Zero rated to
Exempt status thus no claim refunds on VAT paid.
