Why am I writing this article?
I wanted to get the truth about getting leads out in the open. I’ve had great
luck with generating leads. In just 4 days I generated over 150 free leads to
my business.
By the time you finish reading, you will be able to immediately be able to
implement what you’ve learned.
Can you generate your own leads?
Without a doubt you can.
The truth is, generating leads should be the last thing online marketers
should worry about. Because out of all the tasks that come with being an
online marketer, generating leads is the absolute easiest to do.
Do you have to be experienced?
When it comes to generating leads, there seems to be an air of mystery
that surrounds the topic. It’s almost like people think it takes a really big
budget. Or you have to be some top tier guru in order to generate tons of
leads
However that’s not the case.
A beginner from day one can generate leads if he has the right steps.
What’s the easiest way to generate quality leads?
This is from my personal experience, but I’ve generated over 150 free leads
in just 4 days. And in my experience this is a great starting point.
Below you will see 3 examples of how to generate leads. It’s the easiest, and
by the far the quickest way to generate leads.
1. Start With Solo Ads
Solo Ads are the absolute fastest way to get leads to your offer.( Especially
if you’re new.)
To help you better understand, ill lay a small foundation so you can get a
better picture of how it works.
There are online marketers who have been in the industry for a while that
have built a list.
A list is nothing more than people. Those people went to a website and put
there information into a lead capture page.
Those leads then go into an autoresponder.
An autoresponder is a service that lets you send follow up messages to
your leads.
Next, the list owner begins sending them valuable information to help
establish a trusting relationship. They do this because most
Money Is Made In Your List
What I mean is most people will not buy your offer right away. Because
they aren’t familiar with you or your brand yet.
And if those people go to your offer and don’t buy…they’re gone forever.
However, if you capture their email, you can market to them through
emails. That will get them familiar with who you are and what you’re about.
Once your leads see you can be trusted…
They Will Have No Problem Buying From You!
Now that the foundations is laid…on to solo ads.
A solo ad is placing an ad with a list owner. Starting out with 100 clicks, you
can get started for as little as $60.
Solo ads are effective because the people on that list already trust the list
owner.
Since the trust is already established, it dramatically increases your opt in
percentages and allows you to begin building your own list. And…
Turning Some Leads Into Instant Buyers!
Here is how you set this up.
First, you have to have a website with a lead capture page.
Next, you find a solo ad provider and tell him you want to place an ad.
Most people are cool and easy to work with.
Most providers will also write the ad for you!
Then place the order and wait for the traffic to arrive.
Pretty easy right!
2. Banner Advertising
Very few people use banner advertising. But it’s a great source of getting
quality traffic to your offers.
Banner advertising allows you to place a banner on someone else’s
website that has high volume traffic.
You really have to get this right for it to work, but it can really help you get
tons of leads quickly for a low cost.
Here’s how it works.
 First, you need to get a banner. You can have one made for as
cheap as $5. Or, you can go to google and type in banner ads and get
tons of examples.
(Tip) Banners I know convert well always have a catchy headline, punchy
body copy and a strong call to action.
For example:
This is a banner I found by doing a google search for “high converting
banners”.
It’s a perfect example of all 3 steps.
 With banner ads you actually pay per impression, not click. (An
impression is how many times someone sees your ad. They come in
increments of 1000)
For example: Let’s say you agree to pay a total of $1 per 1000 impressions
to have your ad shown.
Say that 1% of people click on your ad.
Since you paid $1 to get your ad seen 1,000 times, that comes out to 10
clicks for ONE DOLLAR!
Here Are Some Jedi Tricks That Will Help Give You Excellent Results
With Banner Ads
Before you place the ad, look to see if:
 If the website has tons of other banners…don’t buy. It’s hard to
convert next to a ton of other ads.
 Make sure you’re ad is above the fold. (Meaning top half of the
website before you scroll down) Ads convert much better that way
because it’s at an eye level)
 If they’re running AdSense…buy. It isn’t surefire, but if they’re running
AdSense your ad will usually convert much better. (AdSense pays
people for traffic that clicks on their ads)
 Make the color of your ad flush with the website. And don’t put
borders around your ad. It will make the ad not stand out and seem
like it’s a part of the website. The more it doesn’t look like a banner,
the more people click 
3. Use untapped traffic sources like Slideshare to your advantage
Slideshare.net is website that allows you to display content that you’ve
created in the form of a pdf or PowerPoint presentation.
It gets tons of traffic and can get you a lot of leads if you do it right. And
the best part is…it’s FREE TO USE.
Here’s a picture of results I got my first month.
This is from my google analytics account.
In 1 month I got 41 leads from Slideshare. Not only that, those leads stayed
on my website for over 20 minutes!!
(They also have a paid version that allows you to collect leads…but you can
do it the free way.)
It works like this.
Find a topic you want to write about.
Once you create your article, go this website:
http://convert.neevia.com/pdfconvert
It allows you to turn written documents or presentations into a
downloadable PDF. After you create your pdf, right click on your mouse to
save it to your computer.
You also want to have a capture page that you can send your leads to.
Important things to know about Slideshare:
Make sure you use images to break up the content. Slideshare works
best If you’re offering “how to” problem solving information. But it’s
still effective either way.
Also, put in a call to action for your reader to click. C.T.A’S work best at the
end of the pdf or presentation.
That call to action should take them to a lead capture page.
The trick to your capture page is to advertising something free as an
incentive to opt-in.
I call these profit magnets.
It can be a pdf, video or an mp3 that gives your lead valuable information
that helps them grow in some way.
Such as: Free Video Reveals…
“How To XYZ In Half The Time”
After they opt-in, take them to whatever you’re promoting.
