2.  It is a cultural and religious holiday
celebrated on the 17th of March.
 It is named after the patron saint of
Ireland,St. Patrick.
 It celebrates St.Patrick bringing Christianity
to Ireland

3.  We learned in class a lot about the history of
St.Patrick.
Who he was, what he did, how the day is
celebrated, how we can celebrate it in class.
 Also we made origami shamrocks (or three leaf
clovers!)
 Shamrocks were used by St.Patrick to explain the
Holy Trinity to the Irish people.
