2. Language
• Creole – A language of mixed European and
african descent, esp. in the Caribbean
"Every ting criss" (crisp) is the equivalent of
everything's cool.
"wa gwan" - means 'what is going on?
'way yuh a'go, e e?' = where are you going?
3. Food
• Breadfruit - The breadfruit tree is fast growing. When
ripen the fruit is somewhat soft, the interior is cream
colored or yellow and pasty, also sweetly fragrant. The
seeds are irregularly oval, rounded at one end, pointed at
the other.
• Ackees - Ackee is the national fruit of Jamaica and are
found in the evergreen trees.
4. Music
• Reggae – slow music talking about life usually
sung by Jamaican artists. Bob Marley was one,
and his son Ziggy Marley as well.
• Dub Music – A music that’s pretty much just
drum and bass put together. It’s sort of like
techno-music. They play dub in clubs mostly.

• Montego Bay..."The Complete Resort" an
awesome place to go swimming with it right on
the ocean you can see tons of aquatic
• South Coast..."Off the Beaten Path" an awesome
trail with trees bending over the path were you
can roller-skate bike run or walk
• Devon House the best place to go for different
thinks to do. This place has ice cream, pastry,
gourmet cuisine and shopping
