• It is important that you have a valid passport and a return
ticket. You will need to present these at the airport to be
allowed entry into the country. Once you have passed

Treasures. Just on the outskirts of town of Ocho Rios,
Dunn’s river is described as a living and growing
phenomenon. You can climb the falls, swim or just visit
the gift shops and take lots and lots of photos.
11. Blue Hole
• Hidden in the mountains of Ocho Rios Jamaica is Blue
Hole. It is one of Jamaica’s best kept secrets. it is an
area with secluded and relatively untouched falls. You
can jump, swing or dive into the cool water below.
12. Golden Eye Hotel and
Resort
• If you are a fan of James bond movies, then you will certainly enjoy
Golden Eye Resort. Located in Oracabessa Bay, St. Mary Jamaica,
it was owned by James Bond writer Ian Fleming. A number of the
Bond movies, including ‘Dr. No’ and ’Live and Let Die’ were filmed
near the estate. Sting wrote Every breath you Take at Fleming's
writing desk while vacationing on the estate in 1982
13. Bob Marley Museum
• Everyone knows of Bob Marley In Jamaica he is referred to as
The Legendary Bob Marley. He was singer and musician who
passed away in 1981 but not before uniting people through
his music. The museum is located in the capital of Jamaica at
56 Hope Road, Kingston 6, and is Bob Marley's former place
of residence.

• Other places include Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay and Port
Antonio Portland. Emancipation Park is also a good location to visit.

15. What to Eat?
• Jamaican Cuisine includes a mixture of cooking
techniques, flavors, spices and influences from the
indigenous people on the island of Jamaica and the
Spanish, British, Africans, Indians and Chinese who
have inhabited the island. Here are some dishes you
may want to try.
16. Ackee and Saltfish
• Ackee and Saltfish is Jamaica’s National dish. It is
usually served for breakfast with fried dumplings or
boiled food.
17. Beef Patties
Beef patties are a must try. This is a pastry stuffed with
spicy beef and is usually paired with a coco bread.
18. Jerk Chicken
Jerk is a style of cooking native to Jamaica in which meat is
dry-rubbed or wet marinated with a hot spice mixture called
Jamaican jerk spice. The meat is then cooked by the
smoke in a jerk pan.

Curried goat is insanely delicious. It is goat meat that is
slow cooked with Jamaican Spiced Curry that is full of
flavor and tender to the bone. It is usually paired with Roti
or Rice and Peas.
20. Red Stripe Beer
After all that eating, the perfect thing to wash all that food
down is a cold Red Stripe Beer. There is also red Stripe
Light Beer that comes in Sorrel and Lemon flavors.
