Building People

• We cannot dehumanise
organisations.
• People in organisations sin
and do righteousness.
The world is our host,
we are the aliens. Only
when Christ returns will
Heaven reign as a
Sovereign and
Absolute Monarchy.

3. Early days adventures of a start-up
• Need a word/prophecy from God
– ‘Make the call’
• Faith and patience (and
courage) – waited 3 long years
• Agreement with wife for first year
to be abnormally busy – birthing
• More thrilling than I expected
• More profitable than I expected
– from salary to profit/shares
• More opposition than I expected
– Sanballat & Tobiah

• Yeast is a plant, a fungi and is an
accurate metaphor for kingdom
business.
• The action of the truth in the sons
of God works like yeast.
• A little goes a very long way –
0.58% of dough.
• Size doesn’t matter if you work like
yeast.
• Yeast’s work is unseen, yet its
effect is seen everywhere.
• Yeast is diffusive, penetrative and
exhaustive – ie very effective.
• Yet yeast must be mixed in – the
sons of the Kingdom are sent to
the world (not monasteries).

principled athletes / artists /
academics / worthy awards.
• Involved in education and
training organisations of
industry.
• Initiate conversation on
‘Industry White Elephants” at
conferences.
• Kingdom yeast is like a voice
that cannot be ignored – it
creates ‘forcible contact’ - it
diffuses, flavours, grows,
permeates, penetrates.

• Influencing / impacting staff – family friendly
corporate functions:
• Invite spouses

• No drunkenness
• Influencing / impacting clients and suppliers.
• Influencing / impacting colleagues,
shareholders, top management.
