The Institution of Lighting Professionals (ILP) is the largest professional lighting association in the UK and Ireland, dedicated to excellence in lighting. As an educational charity, the ILP focuses on supporting its individual members through training, technical resources, and events to help further their careers in lighting design and technology. The ILP also advises the government on lighting legislation and regulations to help ensure effective and practical policies.

Working on exterior and interior projects, in public spaces, workplace, leisure,
retail and residential applications, members of the Institution of Lighting
Professionals deliver excellence in light and lighting, a quality which is

our main focus is on individual members. That means we focus on
