Fax Number Management
RightFax EFM includes new functionality to allow the management of an organizations
many Fax Numbers
 Admins can import a list of Fax Numbers that can be viewed in EFM
 RightFax will create a pool of unused fax numbers
 Users can be assigned an available fax number from the available pool
 Fax number will be returned to the pool automatically upon user deletion
 RightFax can internally route fax calls to numbers in the pool to avoid charges
 Admins can restrict fax number assignment by group

Service Management
RightFax 10.6 Feature Pack 3 will allow administrators to have greater control over
their RightFax services.

In order to improve the fax success
rates of customers who are using
RightFax connect, we will have
RightFax Connect retries managed by
the RightFax Connect Cloud.
 On busy 5 retries 5 minutes apart
 On error 1 retry 5 minutes apart
 All attempt level detail to be included in fax
history
Proxy authentication
RightFax Connect will provide improved
support for proxy servers by adding the
capability for providing proxy credentials

Installation Improvements
OpenText has made several improvements to the installation process for RightFax 10.6
Feature Pack 3
 The 10.6 Feature Pack 3 ISO will now verify its own integrity
 MD5 checksum verification as part of the install
 RightFax web components can now be modified during install
 Web components can be installed to a site other than default
 Web components can be installed to a port other than 80
 RightFax Exchange Connector can now be installed with a default namespace
other than RFAX
 Outlook add-in supports namespaces other than RFAX

FaxUtil Improvements
RightFax FaxUtil now includes new functionality to allow users to search
 Users can perform text searches on specific metadata fields in order to rapidly find
faxes
 Fax list is now paged in order to speed up browsing your fax list
 Administrative mode benefits from the performance of these changes

Web Client Updates
The RightFax Web Client has been updated in order to provide increased functionality
 Users of the web client can now be automatically logged into the web client via
Single Sign On
 Users of the web client can now move a large number of faxes from one folder to
another for organizational purposes
 Phonebooks can now be searched to quickly and easily find their desired contact

The conversion of documents is one of the most processor-intensive tasks of your
RightFax server. Administrators can now view exactly how long conversion are taking
and build baselines.
 Setting a baseline allows admins to also set up an alert if operations fall outside of
baseline settings and track performance
 Graphical output for converters based on
 Summary, History, Breakdown
 Detailed analysis of each converter based on conversion time
 Minimum, Average, Maximum, Count, Median, Range, Std Dev., Baseline

RightFax 10.6 Feature Pack 3 includes fax report capability inside of Enterprise Fax
Manager. Admins will be able to quickly run a fax report without having to run another
installation or program.
