There are many societies to rescue animals
so that they don’t die of many causes.
People leave them alone thinking:oh,they’ll
be alright.But, they don't end up alright.

● Places where people have hurricanes.
● They are left stranded on a street
● Some are left in dumpsters to be cut on broken
glass or to die of starvation.

5. What does abandon mean?
Abandoned means to leave something
somewhere and never come back for it.
6. Why are there so many abandoned
dogs?
● There are about 10,000 abandoned pups all
around the world.Thats about population of Irmo.
● Some owners didn't know how much money it
would be to keep a pet, so they just leave them
alone,tired,and scared.However, it is possible that
the owners could be reunited with their animal
companions.
● They could have been driven away by storms with
no idea how to save their pet.
7. What Can You Do?
Please, please do everything you can to
prevent this!Use everything you learned in this
book to keep dogs safe!Try to make your puppy
feel at home,and ONLY GET A DOG WHEN
YOU KNOW YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY!
