2. Jungle Myna
The jungle myna is a myna, a
member of the starling family.
It is found patchily distributed
across much of the mainland
of the Indian Subcontinent
but absent in the arid zones
of India.
3. Pied Bushchat
The pied bush chat is a small
passerine bird found ranging
from West Asia and Central
Asia to the Indian
subcontinent and Southeast
Asia. About sixteen
subspecies are recognized
through its wide range with
many island forms.

The Indian golden oriole is a
species of oriole found in the

subspecies of the Eurasian
golden oriole, but is now
considered a full species.
6. Laughing Dove
The laughing dove is a small
pigeon that is a resident
breeder in Africa, the Middle
East and the Indian
Subcontinent. This small long-
tailed dove is found in dry
scrub and semi-desert
habitats where pairs can
often be seen feeding on the
ground.
7. Tickells Blue Flycatcher
Female
Tickell's blue flycatcher is a
small passerine bird in the
flycatcher family. This is an
insectivorous species which
breeds in tropical Asia, from
the Indian Subcontinent
eastwards to Southeast Asia.
Its range stretches across all
the countries from India to
Indonesia.
8. White Eared Bulbul
The white-eared bulbul, or
white-cheeked bulbul, or Iraqi
bulbul is a member of the
bulbul family. It is found in
south-western Asia from India
to the Arabian peninsula. In
Iraq many Iraqis owns the
Iraqi bulbuls as pets, they are
one of the most smartest and
intelligent birds on earth.
9. White Wagtail
The white wagtail is a small
passerine bird in the family
Motacillidae, which also
includes pipits and longclaws.
The species breeds in much of
Europe and Asia and parts of
North Africa. It has a toehold
in Alaska as a scarce breeder.
It is resident in the mildest
parts of its range, but
otherwise migrates to Africa.
10. Black Winged Kite
The black-winged kite, also
known as the black-
shouldered kite, is a small
diurnal bird of prey in the
family Accipitridae best
known for its habit of
hovering over open
grasslands in the manner of
the much smaller kestrels.
11. Amur Falcon
The Amur falcon is a small raptor of
the falcon family. It breeds in south-
eastern Siberia and Northern China
before migrating in large flocks
across India and over the Arabian
Sea to winter in Southern Africa. It
was earlier treated as a subspecies
of the red-footed falcon and known
as the eastern red-footed falcon.
12. Lesser Flamingo
The lesser flamingo is a
species of flamingo occurring
in sub-Saharan Africa, with
another population in India.
Birds are occasionally
reported from further north,
but these are generally
considered vagrants. It was
moved from the genus
Phoeniconaias to
Phoenicoparrus in 2014
13. Common Sandpiper
The common sandpiper is a
small Palearctic wader. This
bird and its American sister
species, the spotted
sandpiper, make up the genus
Actitis. They are parapatric
and replace each other
geographically; stray birds of
either species may settle
down with breeders of the
other and hybridize
14. Marshalls Iora
The white-tailed iora or
Marshall's iora, is a songbird
in the genus Aegithina found
in parts of India and Sri Lanka.
15. Long Billed Pipit
The long-billed pipit or brown rock
pipit is a passerine bird which has a
wide distribution. A number of
subspecies have been created for
the populations in Africa, through
the Arabian peninsula and South
Asia. The systematics of this
complex is yet to be clarified. Most
birds are residents or short distance
migrants.
16. Grey Wagtail
The grey wagtail is a member
of the wagtail family,
Motacillidae, measuring
around 18–19 cm overall
length. The species looks
somewhat similar to the
yellow wagtail but has the
yellow on its underside
restricted to the throat and
vent. Breeding males have a
black throat

The common tailorbird is a
songbird found across tropical
Asia. Popular for its nest
made of leaves "sewn"
together and immortalized by
Rudyard Kipling as Darzee in
his Jungle Book, it is a
common resident in urban

The Asian openbill or Asian
openbill stork is a large
wading bird in the stork family
Ciconiidae. This distinctive
stork is found mainly in the
Indian subcontinent and
Southeast Asia
19. Indian Heron Pond
The Indian pond heron or
paddybird is a small heron. It
is of Old World origins,
breeding in southern Iran and
east to Pakistan, India, Burma,
Bangladesh and Sri Lanka
20. Indian Cormorant
The Indian cormorant or
Indian shag is a member of
the cormorant family. It is
found mainly along the inland
waters of the Indian
Subcontinent but extending
west to Sind and east to
Thailand and Cambodia.
21. House Sparrow -Male
The house sparrow is a bird of
the sparrow family
Passeridae, found in most
parts of the world. A small
bird, it has a typical length of
16 cm and a mass of 24–39.5
g. Females and young birds
are coloured pale brown and
grey, and males have brighter
black, white, and brown
markings.
23. Indian Bush Lark
The Indian bush lark is a
species of lark in the family
Alaudidae found in South
Asia.
24. Spotted Owlet
The spotted owlet is a small
owl which breeds in tropical
Asia from mainland India to
Southeast Asia. A common
resident of open habitats
including farmland and
human habitation, it has
adapted to living in cities.
They roost in small groups in
the hollows of trees or in
cavities in rocks or buildings
