1. Love What You Do!

Here are two different prolific speakers who came to the same conclusion in life.
All the money, fame and fortune will not make you successful. Only if you are
happy with what you do, will you truly be successful.
Looking back on all the years that I was climbing the ladder of success with
corporate America, I was never really happy. Sure I had moments of fun
spending the money, but that was only a temporary gratification.
I’m one of the lucky ones, though. I have a wife who stood by me through thick
and then and never stopped believing in me. There were plenty of days when
that was the only thing that helped me maintain my sanity.
With most corporate positions, you really are only one bad month away from
being unemployed. No one is irreplaceable. No one.
It doesn’t matter how great you have performed in the past and for how long.
It’s always a matter of what have you done lately that counts.
For many years, I was working in the entertainment business. While I very much
enjoyed my involvement with the entertainment side of things, it was the
business aspect that had a tendency to overshadow the good.
The worst part of it all, was how much time I was forced to spend away from my
family. I had three small children at the time and missed a lot of their school

2. and after school events.
I did what I felt I was supposed to do. If only I knew then what I know now!
Again, I am one of the lucky ones and have been given a second chance. No, my
wife and I aren’t having any more children at this point in our lives, but we do
have a six month old grandson!
I now get to do, with my grandson, what I wish I could have done with my own
children. I get to be a part of his life. I get to see him and spend time with him
while he’s awake.
So what makes the difference? I now am my own boss. I work at my home
office at my own pace and my own schedule. It is wonderful!
And to top it all off, I am so thankful that I not only love what I do, but it has so
much to offer to be of benefit to others! In other words this truly is a win win
situation! I am ecstatically thrilled beyond words that I can make a living helping
others make a living!
What I am doing, you too could be doing! It’s not rocket science. It does require
effort, but anything in life that is worth having does! The rewards are
tremendous!
Let me ask you a question. Are you truly happy with where you are in life with
your career? If you are, please accept most sincere congratulations! That is
fantastic!
But, if you’re not able to answer yes with all honesty, let me help you. Let me
help you help me.
I’m not a saint, just a good business man. And any good business man knows the
surest way of being successful and maintaining that success is by taking care of
