5 Facts of Shakespeare
●   No birth record exist but since he was baptized on April
    26, 1564, many predict he was born on or around April
    23, 1564.
●   Shakespeare's personal life is somewhat of a mystery.
    There are two primary sources that give a basic outline of
    his life; his work and official documentation (church and
    court records).
●
    3rd child of John Shakespeare and Mary Arden. He had 2
    older sisters and 3 younger brothers.
●   He married Anne Hathaway on November 28, 1582.
●   Had 3 children, two of which were twins.
5 Facts of His Time Period
●   Known as the Elizabethan Era. The Elizabethan Era is
    named after the greatest Queen of England - Queen
    Elizabeth I.
●   Known for the Great Explorers, such as Sir Francis Drake
    and Walter Raleigh and for one of the very first theatres
    in England - The Globe Theatre.
●   The hysteria of witches grew in this time period. People
    blamed unexplainable events as the work of witches.
●   Women were not allowed to act in plays, leaving the men
    to play female roles.
●   The attack by the Spanish Armada happened during this
    period and was one of the most important events in
    English History.
