Cell Phones
Cell phone is a brilliant innovation of the 20th century having solved a lot of the problems that are faced by the human being on their day to day life. Distances have been reduced to phone calls. However, research has shown that cell phones are carcinogenic to people. Use of the cell phones is associated with the increase instances of cancers especially the brain tumor (Lin, 2009). Currently, people in the world believe that communication has been made easier; apparently, cell phones are dangerous to their human health.
Background information on cell phones
Cell phones are emitters of the harmful radiofrequency energy which when its amount are too high and exposed to the human can lead to cancer. Radiofrequency energy emitted by a cell phone to a user is believed to damage the brain cells gradually. The damaged caused depended on the level of technology the phone has bee made. The distance that exists between the phone’s antenna and a given user determines the extent to which harm is caused.
Radiofrequency energy - Radiofrequency energy refers to a form of non-ionizing electromagnetic emission or radiation which tends to be absorbed by tissues near the emitter such as the phone. These forms of radiation can travel through a space or air leading to damage to the object it meets along the way.
Sources of Radiofrequency energy – there are many sources of radiation that exist in our surrounding. Such sources of radiations are cell phones, radios, television, radars, satellite stations and microwaves among others. In this case, the focus is given on the cell phone since it endangers the lives of many human beings.
Effects of radiation – Radiation emitted by the cell phones cause’s tissue damages, cancer and tissue damages. In addition, the ear exposure leads to the swelling of the eardrum leading to pain and even paralysis (Lin, 2009). The main focus is given to the brain tumor that is a very severe disease and difficult to cure due to its complexity and desire for expert's attention.

Background information on cell phones
Cell phones are emitters of the harmful radiofrequency
energy which when its amount are too high and exposed to the
human can lead to cancer. Radiofrequency energy emitted by a
cell phone to a user is believed to damage the brain cells
gradually. The damaged caused depended on the level of

or air leading to damage to the object it meets along the way.
Sources of Radiofrequency energy – there are many sources
of radiation that exist in our surrounding. Such sources of
radiations are cell phones, radios, television, radars, satellite
3. stations and microwaves among others. In this case, the focus is
given on the cell phone since it endangers the lives of many
human beings.
Effects of radiation – Radiation emitted by the cell phones
cause’s tissue damages, cancer and tissue damages. In addition,
the ear exposure leads to the swelling of the eardrum leading to
pain and even paralysis (Lin, 2009). The main focus is given to
the brain tumor that is a very severe disease and difficult to
cure due to its complexity and desire for expert's attention.
Lawsuits on the cells phones impact
Cell phone companies have been sued due to the impact it
has on the human beings. Recently a man in Florida sued the
mobile phone manufacturing company over the death of his wife
(Kovach, 2007). The wife had died of brain tumor.
Research on the impact on humans
Studies have indicated that consistent link that exists with
the use of the cell phones will ultimately determine the level of
damage the user will suffer. The brain, tissues of the neck,
tissues on the head and nerves are frequently exposed leading to
growth of the cells due to the impact of the radiations.
However, more research is needed to be carried out concerning
cell phone technology (Kovach, 2007). The manner in which
human are expected to handle the gadget should be availed a
soon as possible.
Brain tumor – it refers to the growth of the cells of the
brain due to the expose to the cancer causing agents. The cell
phones are associated with the cancerous brain tumor or
malignant.
Inconsistency in the various research findings – despite the
emphasis given by the health societies towards establishing the
impact of the cell phones on the body, there are some objection
toward the finding. Manufacturers have conducted parallel
researchers trying to avoid the negative impact depicted by the
health organizations.
Cons of cell phones
It is believed that the increasing use of the cell phone is
4. associated with the increasing cases of the brain tumor.
Secondly, the use of the cell phone is associated with much
caution due to the impact it has on human health. Thirdly, the
impact caused by the radiation has been proofed to cause the
damage to the DNA. Finally, radiation can damage the sperm
when kept in men’s pocket near the private parts (Kovach,
2007).
Safety testing of the cell phones
Mobile phone should have thorough testing at the factory in
order to be allowed for human use. Following the struggle by
the companies to provide inconsistent information about the cell
phone, it is evident that such allegation be resolved. Lawsuits
can end up bringing down the brilliant communication idea if
such harmful effects are true (Lin, 2009).
Protecting oneself
Human beings are expected to follow the manufacturer
instruction and provision before using the device bought.
Negligence is considered the leading killer among the users of
the cell phones (Lin, 2009). There are also different qualities of
cell phone available in the market. It is important that the users
purchase a recommended phone that has all protection
provisions.
Economic implications of cell phones – Cell phones are the
current economy prime movers especially in the money transfer
industry. It leads to big lose if the devices are associated with
harmful impacts on human health.
Conclusion
Cell phones cannot be treated fully has harmful before
conclusive and inclusive findings are presented to the users.
Companies too are expected to exercise codes of ethics while
trying to avoid victimization over the impact of the phones.
Conversely, companies are expected to embark on research that
will solve the issue surrounding the dangers posed by the cell
phones.
