A demultiplexer (DEMUX) is a device that selects one of several input signals and outputs the selected signal. There are different types of DEMUX including 1-to-4 DEMUX which takes a single input and routes it to one of four outputs based on the value of a control signal. This handout discusses designing a 1-to-4 DEMUX.
