Designed for primary brain tumor patients undergoing
treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK), Mind Over
Matter offers online support throughout the treatment process.
The educational group provides a confidential space for
patients to share their personal experiences and discuss
issues concerning their treatment.

3.  Furthermore, it enables patients to encourage
one another and seek emotional support from
others in similar situations.
Mind Over Matter is sponsored by Virtual
Programs and the Patient and Caregiver
Education department. A social worker and
MSK nurse lead discussions, which regularly
occur once a month. Patients must register
for the group prior to attendance.
