2. MSKCC Opens Massive New Lab in New York City
For close to two decades, Steve Kanzer has served as the chairman and CEO of Accredited
Ventures, Inc., a New York City-based investment firm that targets companies in the life sciences
industry. Apart from his career in investment banking, Steve Kanzer is a longtime supporter of
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC).

3. MSKCC Opens Massive New Lab in New York City
In January 2018, MSKCC opened a brand new laboratory facility on East 64th Street in New York
City. The largest freestanding lab of its kind in the city, the new building will serve as the home of
MSKCC’s Center for Laboratory Medicine and process upwards of 10 million tests for MSKCC
patients on an annual basis. It will be staffed on a 24/7 basis, meaning that patients won’t have to
wait for time-sensitive test results. The lab will always be open and looks to process some 5,000
specimens and 2,500 lab tests daily.
