2. GSA WORD of the DAY
The purpose of the Word of the Day is to provide students
with the meaning of the words associated with LGBTQ and
Equity that we hear and use every day.
Today’s word is Misogyny. Misogyny is the hatred of ,
contempt for, or prejudice, against women or girls. Misogyny
can be manifested in numerous ways, including social
exclusion, sex discrimination, hostility, patriarchy, male
privilege, belittling of women, violence against women, and
sexual objectification.
The Word of the Day is posted on the GSA display board on
the main floor.
