ARTERIES

Structure of artery

Each artery is muscular tube lined by smooth tissue and has
three layers:

A. intima ; the innermost layer which made up of muscle tissue
called endothelium

B. the second layer is media or the middle layer :is thickest layer
made up of more smooth muscle that can dilate or constrict
which adjusted the pressure felt on the arterial walls during
systolic pumping on the muscle contracts :

The wail feel more pressure from the left ventricle and similar on
the vessel dilate and the pressure will drop

C. the last layer is the outer most known as the adventitia is
crucial foe connecting the arteries to other tissue in the body
AORTA
 The largest artery in the body
 Split into four different section:
1. Ascending aorta .
2. Aortic arch ( curve over the heart ).
3. The descending thoracic aorta .
4. The abdominal aorta .

 Connect to the heart by aortic valve and supplies
blood to the heart by RT and LT CORONARY
ARTERIS
 LEFT MAIN CORONARY ARTERY DIVIDED IN :
LADCX Which supplies the left heart
 RIGHT coronary artery supplies the RT HEART and
small part of the interventricular septum

AORTIC ARCH
 Gge rise of the brachiocefalic artery , left
common carotid artery , and left
subclavien artery
