Has PhD in Telecommunication Engineering and also
serving Addis Ababa University as an Assistant
Professor. Beneyam has worked as an ICT researcher
and consultant in various
international projects in Finland and USA for more than
seven years and he has initiated,
proposed and coordinated successful international ICT
projects that contribute to
build the capacity of the Ethiopian ICT market. His area
of specialty are 4G, 5G and B5G mobile technologies,
network measurement, planning and optimization, Dat
Analytics and ICT4D.
Has PhD in ICT and MSc Telecommunications
Engineering both from the University of Trento, Italy,
and BSc degree in Electrical Engineering. He is also
serving as an Assistant Professor at Addis Ababa
University. He is a project leader for multi-million Birr
research and development projects. Ephrem has vast
international industry-oriented research project
experience in Network and Cloud Infrastructure. He has
published over 20 articles on peer reviewed scientific
ICT journals and conference proceedings.
Has BSc in Electronics Engineering from San
Jose, USA and BSc in Physics from Addis
Ababa University. He has worked for more
than 20 years in big Tech firms and US
Federal government, to name a few IBM, Dell,
EPA, Department of Education as Network
Engineer, System Engineer, Enterprise
Architectures and all types of hardware and
software support. He also found and run
various Ethiopian diaspora oriented
businesses across several states in United
States of America.
