This document presents a project to design a torque generator mechanism. The mechanism aims to provide greater torque output using relatively small electric motors and gear assemblies. This would make manufacturing processes requiring high torque, such as bending metal sheets and structural profiles, more affordable. The proposed design uses two meshed gears of different diameters, along with a motor or crank handle, mounted on a wooden base. It is intended to be simple to manufacture locally at low cost. Testing of prototypes will evaluate torque multiplication capabilities. The goal is a compact, affordable solution for applications needing high torque.

2. • Torque generator mechanisms form the basics of vehicle transmissions as
well as high torque motors. For this purpose we use a combination of gears
to transfer motion in a way to generate more torque. Using this technique
many industrial machines and system generate high torque using small
motors and gear mechanisms.

3. • To move heavy and giant goods requires more torque especially in hilly
region, so that it requires more no. of power sources to produce that much
torque.
• The manufacturing industry is in need of torque producing devices for the
bending of pipes structural profiles, metal sheets which need again big
machines that has capability to bend steel in desired aspect.
• The cost to manufacture these structural profile due to huge machinery are
much expensive.

OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE
5. The design and assembly of a mechanism to provide more torque top wheel of
vehicle and industrial machines . The use of a relatively small electric motor,
coupled with a small gear or driving gear which is meshed with bigger gear or
driven gear to produce the torque, is a novel approach to the process. The
torque generator method uses two gears and a motor/ crank handle in order to
accomplish the rotational movement. The strongest restriction upon the design
is that it could be manufactured in small shops, with a cost low enough to be
profitable even for a small production volume.

10. • Divide the diameter of the output gear by the diameter of the input gear. Multiply the
torque of the motor by the gear ratio to get the output torque. For example, a
motor that puts out 10 Nm of torque used with a gear reducer with a 10:1 gear ratio
will give you 100 Nm.
