5. DAY 1: WED
Windhoek - Namib Desert (Unguided)
Depart early afternoon via Solitaire to a comfortable lodge bordering the scenic
Namib landscape. Overnight at Namib Naukluft Lodge or similar. [Dinner]
6. DAY 2: THURS
Sossusvlei
Early morning Sossusvlei excursion. Climb the world’s highest sand dunes. Visit
rugged Sesriem Canyon. Return to Lodge for lunch. Afternoon nature drive
(drinks for own account). Overnight at Namib Naukluft Lodge or similar.

7. DAY 3: FRI
Namib Desert - Swakopmund (Unguided)
After breakfast, travel via Kuiseb Canyon to Swakopmund. Arrive at midday.
Overnight in Swakopmund at Brigadoon Guest House or similar. [Breakfast]
8. DAY 4: SAT
Swakopmund (Unguided)
Explore Swakopmund and enjoy some of the many optional activities (for own
account): Visit to the aquarium, museum or crystal gallery; join the Living Desert
Tour or a guided tour to the township Mondesa. Meet fellow travellers and guide
for dinner. Overnight in Swakopmund at Brigadoon Guest House or similar.

9. DAY 5: SUN
Swakopmund - Damaraland
Depart early towards Henties Bay. See the Rock Art and the Organ Pipes at
Twyfelfontein. Lunch pack en route. Arrive at remote lodge in Damaraland in the
late afternoon. Overnight at Twyfelfontein Country Lodge.

10. DAY 6: MON
Damaraland
Morning at leisure. Lunch. Afternoon sundowner drive in the Aba Huab River and
possibly encounter the desert dwelling elephants (seasonal). Overnight at
Twyfelfontein Country Lodge. [Full Board]
11. DAY 7: TUES
Damaraland - Etosha National Park
Visit a Damara village, near Twyfelfontein, before departing to Etosha National
Park. Lunch en route (for own account). In the afternoon take your first game
drive (in closed vehicle) in Etosha . Overnight near Etosha National Park at Etosha
Safari Camp or similar. [Breakfast, Dinner]
12. DAY 8: WED
Etosha National Park
Day excursion into the park (in a closed vehicle). Explore the various waterholes
along the enormous Etosha saltpan. Overnight near Etosha National Park at
Etosha Safari Camp or similar. [Breakfast, Dinner]
13. DAY 9: THURS
Etosha National Park
Full day in the park (in a closed vehicle), exploring the various waterholes along
this vast saltpan. Overnight at Mokuti Etosha Lodge or similar. [Breakfast, Dinner]
14. Depart for Windhoek via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja to explore a local handicraft
market. Tour ends in Windhoek during late afternoon.
