Synopsis- Fathered by a politician's
extramarital passion, Torali’s life is a quest
for sanctuary from her father’s loveless
world, but her intent to uncover her father’s

X is an ethnic beverage used by the tribe Dimasa. The ingredients of
this beverage/liquor are generally Rice, different herbal medicines etc.
It is commonly used in different festivals of Dimasa tribe.
The barks of the local tree ‘Tremphra’ is the used for the production of
this beverage. This is mixed with rice and water and some cakes are
made. These are kept in sunlight for a few days. When these become
dry and thick, these are called as Sumaos.
Sumaos are kept inside the banana leaves for another few weeks. After
that these are kept inside Kolohs( or Iyendhi) for 1-2 weeks. After that
interval, the Sumaos secrete a kind of liquid and these are poured
outside the Kolohs with the help of some canals using bamboo stick.
Name this beverage used in almost all kinds of Dimasa festivals.
* Seen to be mentioned for lots of time in Rita Choudhury’s epic Deo-
Lung-Khui.

through the voice of the music maestro. Y’s is known for his
passion for the mighty river and is called the
'Bard of Brahmaputra'. So, when I needed someone to
represent the voice of the river in my film, I immediately
decided to approach Y. ... He was ailing and not well when I
approached him for recording the recitation for the film.
However, he agreed to lend his voice and we finally
recorded the recitation in February 2010.”
