2. PARTHENON
Parthenon is an ancient Greek temple
completed in 438 BC. It is located at the
highest point of Athens.
3. NEW ACROPOLIS MUSEUM
The New Acropolis museum, as the name reveals,
was recently established (in 2008) and has
exhibits of ancient, Roman and early Byzantine
Athens.
4. PLAKA
An old, idyllic and peaceful neighborhood in
the city of Athens. Plaka is ideal to explore
and walk through on a sunny day.
5. THE MALL ATHENS
One of Athens's biggest shopping centers. It is
quite popular among young people and has
easy access to public transportation.
6. SYNTAGMA
Syntagma square is right outside the Greek
parliament. There exists a monument in
dedication to all the soldiers killed in any
war, which is continuously guarded.
