sessions between pairs of users within the group. The one-on-one online chat sessions
preferably last for a selected or predetermined period of time. Users then rank or rate the one-

- Nevada's First and the West Coast’s largest Bee Hotel at US Forest Service Welcome
Center in Galena Forest, Reno Nevada. Worked to raise funding to help native pollinators.
Awarded grant of $2500 that was used to build large native pollinator gardens and bee hotel as
well as k – 12 pollinator curriculum for every student in Washoe County. Gained votes via social

Sandy has been a volunteer with the Galena Creek Visitor Center and Great Basin Institute for
approximately a year. She enabled a partnership with the Bee Habitat organization and the Reno
Sparks Association of Realtors which brought to realization a pollinator garden, large insect
hotel, and field study curriculum geared to K-12 Washoe County students.
Sandy has proven to be a dedicated connecting-community-with-nature community member.
