1. This was a presentation given by GCE, Georgia Chemical Equipment to
cleaning contractors.
This was presented by Linda Chambers, Brand and Sales Manager for
GCE with base slides given to GCE from EaCo Chem. Some comments
overlayed on these slides have been condensed or added that were
not in the original EaCo Chem presentation but no facts about the
products have been altered. Changes were made to allow the
narration to appear and fit on the screen from ones unseen as frame

2. New Construction Cleaning
New construction cleaning is a very important piece of any
construction job. EaCo Chem makes this part of the project simple,
safe, and rewarding. In this presentation we will show you the
product line for new construction as well as the application and
what all these products can give you.

4. Why Clean New Construction?
You want your customers property to shine and do not to want to leave excess mortar, job
dirt, efflorescence, or calcite on their building walls.

NMD 80- Brushless application
that is used on all substrates for
removing mortar smears or any
other construction stain.
SOS-50- Safe acid alternative
for most substrates.

6. NMD 80
NMD 80 is a great product for new construction and
this is why. NMD 80 will not only clean up
efflorescence stains from new construction it will
prevent them from appearing even if it has not
became visible yet. The product will also clean all
after job site dirt and debris. These stains will never
be left behind by NMD80; manganese stains,
efflorescence, white scum, and burns plus NMD80
will remove all excess mortar smears.

7. SOS-50- This product is applied to the exact specifications as NMD 80.
SOS-50 is just organic salt based product instead of acidic.

8. • One Restore- This product can be applied directly with no
dilution and rinsed before drying. Depending on the difficulty of
the job the application process may need repeated. One Restore
is safe on any substrate including glass and limestone.

9. Stain Removing Products
This is a pre soak for use with NMD 80
that removes hard stuck on calcite stains.
Is a rinse less soap based detergent that
breaks down efflorescence and prevents
it from returning.
This is a pre-soak for NMD 80 that removes
hard to clean white scum.
If spraying with water lets the white color
disappear but reappears when dry, it is
Efflorescence, It is stays white when wet but
can be scraped off it is White Scum, if it is
thick and doesn’t scrape off it is Calcium.

10. Proper Tools For The Job
Always be sure to wear your proper PPE. Make sure that there is a water hookup available on
the job site. Always have NMD 80 and the EC-jet for the new construction cleaning. EaCo
Chem recommended specs for NMD 80 is to use a 2-3 GPM pressure washer with no more
than 3,000 psi. Using the EC-jet attached will allow you to apply and rinse with the low
pressure rinse specified and keep the chemical from running through your machine.

11. EC Jet
The EC Jet is specifically designed to be used with NMD 80.
It attaches to the end of most pressure washers. The purpose
of the EC Jet is to apply NMD 80 to its specifications which is
a 4-1 dilution. This tool also applies and rinses at low
pressure specified by Eaco Chem.

12. •The EC Jet makes all of your NMD 80 masonry jobs easier due to the
fact that it is brushless, auto diluting, and the easy turn valve that lets
you apply NMD 80 with a turn then water rinse with just another turn
of the valve.
•When cleaning new construction the best practice is cleaning your
building with NMD 80 and also applying it correctly with the risk free
ease of the EC Jet. This is a winning combination that will save you
tremendous amounts of time, money, and not to mention leave your
building with remarkable results.

You can use other injection sprayers like the
X-Jet, just be sure to use the 1:4 dilution
proportioner.

13. EF-Fortless- You can apply this product directly to the surface with
no rinsing involved. Apply and wait for the foam to collapse.
Additional applications may also be needed depending on severity
of the job. Apply until no new bubbling occurs when applied.
