1. Rhetorical Situations
Purpose:My purpose for writing this essay is to analyze the text, summarize it, display examples
and quotes from the author and explain my own feelings about the text.
Audience: My audience is for those that are concerned for the youth in this country and have
been misguided into thinking that media is the problem with youth.
Stance: My stance in this view agrees with the author of the text and disagrees with some studies
that my personal experiences have defied.
Genre:Text analysis that shows the argument of the text that tells true problem behind the
youths violence.
Media/Design:Shows MLA format from texts: “Whodunit-The Media?” and “Behaving like
Children”. Includes quotes with page numbers and paragraph numbers.
