Vietnam (December 2014 - January 2015).
I did a volunteer disability care placement with USA Vietnam Friendship Village in Ha
Noi, working a special education class.
Experience included:
- Management/ assistance of students group and individual school work;
- Taught English, basic communication and social skills, games and activities;
- Provided general help to teacher and students in cooking and sport lessons; and
- Catered for students diverse and education care needs in an inclusive and
person-centred manner.

- Used innovative thinking to create a customer oriented cloud computing solution;
- Developed solutions on a company’s customer service challenges, and developed

January 2014)
At National Disability Services, I started out in a junior policy role (2010 - 2011) before
progressing to a sector based position (2011 - 2012), and to my last role as Policy and
Research Officer.
Experience included:
- Collation and analysis of research for internal and external communication
purposes. For example: research reports, news updates;
- Strong written communication skills, including preparation of policy papers,
submissions, reports, and media updates to inform internal staff and external
stakeholders;
- External event management support for conferences, consultations, and sector
engagement activities, incl. registration, customer administration, answering
inquiries;
- Strong research and presentation skills, including preparation and analysis of
industry information, reports and initiatives to present to management, executive
staff and stakeholders;
