This document promotes crowdsourcing as a better alternative to outsourcing for innovation. It outlines a process where a problem owner posts a challenge to a community, receives submissions within a week from experts, reviews the options, and rewards the best submission. This allows access to skills and feedback to accelerate innovation at a lower risk and cost than traditional outsourcing. The document encourages using this approach rather than getting stuck with traditional methods, and closing by thanking the reader and providing contact details.
