This document provides an overview of a panel at SXSW 2018 titled "Sizzle: VR for Cuisine, Content, and Commerce". The panel will discuss how virtual reality can impact cooking, dining, and commerce in daily life now and in the future. The panelists are Gabriele Corcos, a celebrity chef; Cathy Hackl, an influential Latina voice in VR; Gordon Meyer from YouVisit; and Eric Gillin of Conde Nast's Food Innovation Group. They will explore if VR can be used to teach cooking, enable virtual book shopping, and improve media consumption.
