Just like you can't park your car in certain places, there are spiritual "no parking zones." You can't park in sin; you can't park in spiritual infancy; and you can't park in fear! These are no parking zones yet many have comfortably settled into these areas.
We live in a dark world, and being the people that God wants us to be is not easy and has a price. The battle begins in the mind. We must be spiritually minded and truly seek spiritual things or we will sub-come to the pressure and be conformed into the image of this dark world.
Being a Christian is challenging! We are challenged to imitate Christ! We are challenged to make our conduct consistent with our calling! We are challenged to remember where we were and where Jesus brought us. Yes, Christianity is challenging!

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

8. Ephesians 5:3-14
3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual
immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed,
because these are improper for God’s holy people.
4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse
joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.
9. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or
greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any
inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because
of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are
disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.
Ephesians 5:3-14
10. 8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in
the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the
light consists in all goodness, righteousness and
truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have
nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but
rather expose them.
Ephesians 5:3-14
11. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do

becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated
becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said:|
“Wake up, sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
