A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Richland County senior who is pursuing a college degree
and career in an Ag-related field.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be a senior currently attending high school in
Richland County and pursuing a college degree in the Fall of 2014.
Applicants must complete all instructions for the application to be accepted. Submit all parts of
the application to the guidance office or the Farm Bureau office no later than April 1, 2014.

Please include in the application:
1. This cover sheet, completed.
2. 150-300 word responses to each of the following questions:
a. How has agriculture impacted your life?
b. What are your goals for your future and your career?
c. How would this scholarship help you achieve your goals?
3. A letter of recommendation from a teacher, community leader, or employer.
4. A list of your leadership experience, awards, and community involvement.
