A fun day at Beach Education.

1. Year 7 camp 2009
Beach education
CRASH!! The waves hit me like a bolt of lighting
but I know that I have to keep going. I hoped
that camp 2009 would be fun and going to
beach Ed is like icing on the cake. Trying my best
to run through the rough waves’, trying so hard it
pays off getting back to shore from running
round 3 teachers. The sea is cold but luckily no
more swimming, in return we get a tour round the
surf life saving club house. All year sevens got
separated into 3 groups. My favourite area was
the emergency department. They have a test
dummy and a bed for people in pain or for those
who need a rest from the struggle they got
themselves into. We had finished the tour so the
groups met up in the club house for a lesson on
rips and currents. It was great to learn about it.
Finally the main event…. FREE TIME!!!! In the
water or on the beach everyone was having fun.
By the way guess what? I got bitten by a crab!!
