There is concern that children may try to imitate dangerous moves they see on television and get hurt. However, WWE argues that only trained professionals perform complex maneuvers. 4.  WWE has a policy that carries out health testing which
they’ve had in place for several years, to ensure the
athletes are both physically and mentally stable.
 If any professional wrestlers is in breach of using violence
outside of their own routines towards the audience the
WWE talent will be immediately suspended and

5.  Viewers that are under 18 years old can easily be influenced by what
they watch on the television. The children can imitate that moves on
their brothers and sisters that could hurt or break there bones.
 For example when I was 11 or 12 years I hurt my shoulders because I

up my class mates until I eventually injured my self for couple of days
and this was due to watching wrestling.

that wrestling moves are dangerous and the audience should not copy

6.  Every week WWE brings violence to its audiences
broadcasting two new episodes.
 However WWE does not think about the viewers reaction
to the violence when watching television. Most of the
audience that watch wrestling shows are teenagers,

7.  When children are watching WWE it is very difficult for their parents to
take responsibility for their children’s viewing especially in this day age
with access to the internet making wrestling videos even more

channel to stop their children accessing these images.
 When children are watching WWE it can be counter productive and lead
to physical fatigue in young people who are likely to stay up very late at

4:15am and on Fridays 10pm tell 12am.

8.  I believe that WWE is a very violent sport industry that has been blamed for
destroying superstars health.
 In wrestling industry most of the WWE superstar takes steroids to keep the
make them more muscular and stronger.
Chris Benoit took a lot of steroids and this was said to be at fault for the tragedy
that he was involved in. Christopher Michael committed suicide after killing his
wife and two children.
 The doctor called McDevitt said prescribed testosterone as part of a treatment
for testosterone replacement therapy, which was a common medical practice for
people who have used steroids in the past played a large role in the events that
unfolded with Christopher Michael.

9.  WWE has violent matches involving women fighters
known in wrestling as divas. In 2013 there was two
diva’s called AJ Lee and Kaitlyn which was a battle that
was violent, bloody and one of most barbaric matches in
the history of the sport.

10.  In conclusion I think that WWE is a violent sport industry that has an
effect on teenagers across the world.
 I think that WWE has the right to broadcast their show because in
most cases the violence is controlled and they people performing the
acts are trained professionals which is always made clear during the
shows.
 I would agree that the sport should be blocked for people under the
age of 18 as the younger viewers are most vulnerable to injuries
through imitating the moves of the professionals.
 There parents should block the channel so that the teenager should
not be allowed to watch the wrestling however it is still difficult to
censor completely with the internet and peoples access to this source
of information.
 I believe that parents play a big role in preventing the negative
impacts that can befall some younger viewers. It is the parents
responsibility to ensure their own children understand the seriousness
of violence.
