You have to figure it ALL out.

A thin team is OK if you are doing a thin project.
Does your business have a decent plan…

Just figuring out one bit and not the others is a FAILURE.
Make sure you have a good team and a comprehensive one.

So many plans are ill conceived and have no basis in reality.
Do you REALLY know your competition? The biggest competition is not doing it
remember.

5. Be careful with research
• People don’t perform the way they say
they will perform.
• They tell LIES!!!
• Look at hard data – performance
• Be careful with Mobile…
– All that glitters is not gold…

6. Questions you need to ask
• Would a bank manager like it and agree to lend you the money.
• Would your Mum and Dad understand it and lend you the money
• How hard are you prepared to work? A startup is not 9-5 its not 40
hours a week –
• Do you have other competing obligations?
– A new baby, a time consuming hobby, a marathon???
• What will your friends say? Cool or Fool?

7. Look in the Mirror!
What do you see? A successful entrepreneur or a wannabe?
Do you REALLY have the right stuff to do this?
