2) The second reviews a café called The Dynamo in Putney that serves pizza, coffee, and caters to cyclists. It has great coffee, pizza, and breakfast but the service was lacking.
3) The third reviews a tapas bar and cocktail venue called Boceto Hackney. It has excellent cocktails but the tapas is just okay. The drinks are the real highlight.

The document discusses how the Torres family's wine business began with Jaime Torres crossing the ocean on a wooden sailboat in the 19th century to export their wine internationally, starting an odyssey that expanded their business globally over generations. This early adventurous and ambitious spirit drove the family to continually look outward and be pioneers in exporting their wine regularly via chartering their own ship. Now in its fifth generation, Bodegas Torres continues this legacy of international expansion that was inspired by Jaime Torres' original global voyage.
TerraVIVA aims at helping and stimulating
people to rediscover the history and beauty
of the Olona Valley often hidden under
fallacies and false beliefs. TerraVIVA looks at
its region, geography, history and traditions
with curiosity, greed, interest and passion.
By promoting our culture, the surrounding
areas and their heritage, by raising the
attention of citizens, shopkeepers and
restaurateurs on this topics we will be able
to make our Valley more and more “appealing”
not only to our tourists but also to the
inhabitants of the surrounding cities and
the citizenry itself.
TerraVIVA is a new, free, coloured guidebook
which combines new technologies with old
tools: on the one side it is multimedia, free
downloadable and accessible on the Net; on
the other side it is graphically captivating,
multilingual (IT, EN, DE and RU) and provided
with an easy-to-use pocket-sized map.
A condensation of 68 pages which allows us
to relive and experience again the places
where we were born, the traditions we grew
up with and the recipes which warmed our
heart... but it is also, and above all, a starting
point, an incentive to promote us, to broaden
our culinary and geographical knowledge
in order to build closer relationships
and connections between our region and
people who work and live in it.
Industrial Archaeology, Valmorea railway,
Visconti and gentlemen chefs, local and
vegan recipes as well as places to visit in
each town, restaurants and shops: these are
just a few things that you will nd in our
guidebook.
So, all you can do now is discover and enjoy
it... the Olona Valley I mean, not the guidebook!

12. YAYS NEIGHBOURHOOD GUIDE
WELCOME TO
YAYS BARCELONA
“Everybody is curious by nature and looking for new
inspiration and enrichment of the mind. Therefore we
combined the special experiences and heritage of a city
neighbourhood with the luxury of a ‘concierged boutique
apartment’ in characteristic buildings with a story.
Yays creates the conditions for our guests to unlock the
hidden treasures of that neighbourhood. In that sense we
want to give every guest the feeling to be a resident.”
~ Peter Heule – CEOYays ~

SAGRERA
Hidden behind the well-connected main road, La Meridiana,
lies the neighbourhood of Sagrera. Just like Gracia, but less
discovered, it’s a charming neighbourhood with lots of

metropolis of Spain. Its peaceful vibe with less traffic make
it a perfect neighbourhood for families or those who are
just curious to have a taste of what the rest of Catalonia is
like. Stay here and you’ll be surrounded by magnificent
hidden treasures, fortunately not mentioned in most tourist
guides. Enough said to ensure yourself of an unforgettable
experience.

Una de las últimas panaderías
que conservan un obrador
propio. Mónica continúa con el
legado que le fue entregado
hace cinco generaciones. El
secreto de sus panes
excepcionales es la materia
prima de primera calidad como
la mantequilla de Gerona o el
chocolate suizo. Todos sus
productos son hechos a mano
con fermentación aletargada,
sin levaduras artificiales ni
productos químicos. Esto hace
que además de ser ricos sean
panes livianos y saludables. La
coca de pan, el pan de cristal y
el pan de pirineo son algunas
de sus especialidades.
L’Obrador Dels 15 is one of the
few remaining bakeries where

Monica continues the legacy
that was passed on among five
generations. The secret of their
exceptional breads is use of
quality ingredients such as local
butter from Girona or Swiss
chocolate. All products are
handmade with slow
fermentation, without artificial
yeasts or chemicals. This
creates not only delicious, but
light and healthy breads. Local
breads such as ‘La Coca de pan’
and ‘el pan de cristal’ are some
of their specialties.

Situado al lado de la Antigua
fábrica de camiones Pegaso,
Parque de la Pegaso es un
bonito y distinto parquet que
merece una visita. Es un lugar
mágico donde la naturaleza y
la historia se encuentran. Los
arquitectos Enric Batlle y Joan
Roig han conservado recuerdos
característicos de los orígenes
industriales del parque, que se
mezclan con canales de agua,
puentes de estilo japonés y una
amplia variedad de plantas y
árboles. Si bien hay una sección
abierta para los juegos, su mejor
active es el sendero que
muestra muchas peculiaridades
arquitectónicas y reliquias
industriales.

The parish of Sant Andreu del
Palomar, located at the Orfila
square, rises on the space that
was previously occupied by a
Romanesque church of the
tenth century. In 1881 the works
of extension of the old Church
of Sant Andreu del Palomar
were realized.The result: a
Neo-Gothic building that is a
symbol of the history of the
neighbourhood, as it has been
through centuries of the history
of this formerly independent
town.
La parroquia de Sant Andreu

plaza de Orfila, se levanta
sobre el espacio que
anteriormente ocupaba una
iglesia románica del siglo X. En
1881 se realizaron las obras de
ampliación de la antigua
Iglesia de Sant Andreu del
Palomar; el resultado: un
edificio neogótico que es todo
un símbolo de la historia del
barrio, ya que ha visto pasar
por delante suyo siglos de la
historia de este antiguo pueblo
independiente.

The ‘Puente de Bac de Roda’,
also known as the Calatrava
bridge, separates the
neighbourhoods of Sant Andreu
and Sant Martí. It was built
between 1985 and 1987 by the
architect Santiago Calatrava, a
well-known local architect. The
bridge was inspired by the lines
of the human body that shapes
the bridge with a curved design.
It is a huge work of art and
engineering alongside the train
tracks that is accessible for both

82. BICKERSGRACHT
If Amsterdam is more like a village than a city, then this holds
especially true for Bickerseiland, just northwest of Central
Station. Surrounded by canals and crossed with charming
narrow streets, Bickerseiland offers that unique piece of
quiet in a city storm. Stay on the island if you’re looking to
take it easy or head south to the lively Haarlemmerdijk
with its many cafes, boutiques and restaurants and the
markets on Noordermarkt, Lindengracht and Westerstraat.
Go west for a stroll – or run – in Westerpark or east to
discover the architecture and hidden restaurants of the
newly built Westerdok.
84. ZOUTKEETSGRACHT
Tucked away to the northwest of Central Station lies the
Zeeheldenbuurt. Named after great Dutch seafarers, this is
a part of town you won’t find in many tourist guides. Not
yet, that is. It’s a true resident’s neighbourhood with lots of
local restaurants and coffee shops. Watch the ships sail by
on the river IJ, jump on a bike and visit the monthly Sunday
Market in the nearby Westerpark or catch an art house
movie in Amsterdam’s oldest and oh so charming movie
theatre The Movies. Leave the city guide at home and
wander through the streets as if you have always lived here.
86. OOSTENBURGER-
GRACHT
The Oostenburgergracht is located in the eastern part of
town. Mixing museum classics with nightlife hotspots
frequented by the city’s hippest, Amsterdam-Oost truly
offers something for everyone. Get your cultural fix at the
Tropenmuseum or the Maritime Museum. If you like your
sights to be a little more lively, visit Artis Magistra –the
oldest zoo in the Netherlands. Treat yourself to some local
goodies at the many shops of the Czaar Peterstraat and
ease into the evening with a locally brewed beer at Brouwerij
‘t IJ - all within walking distance from the apartment.
